This is the second interview with Senator McGee in his office on March
10, 1969.
Senator, without any preliminaries, did not you have some conversation with Mr. Johnson before you went on the Senate Foreign
- mentioned that at the time, and one Senator whom I'll
not name mentioned it to me personally, that this was a reason--because
of the Strauss case that they would hold up Fortas.
